Out Spoken! How to be Inclusive: LGBTQI+, Autism and Learning Disability
A training session for health and social care professionals, to learn about the barriers faced by LGBTQI+ autistic and/or learning disabled people, solutions and sharing learning from co-workers with lived experience.
The Out Spoken Project is delivering training to health and social care professionals, to help make sure that services are accessible and inclusive for LGBTQI+ autistic people and/or people with learning disabilities.
Our training is created and delivered by experts by experience, to make sure the information you get is accurate and informative. On our course, you will learn:
- What pronouns are and how to use them
- LGBTQI+ terms and definitions
- About sex and gender, and the difference between them
- From lived experience of autistic and/or learning disabled people who identify as LGBTQI+
- How to make your work inclusive and accessible for autistic and/or learning disabled people who identify as LGBTQI+
We are now offering you the opportunity to learn some of our skills in this online training event and take away your own accessible and informative resources, to use in your work.
