"The Patient Experience Network (PEN) National Awards is the first and only awards programme to recognise best practice in the experience of care across all facets of health and social care in the UK."
PEN is "an independent, ‘not-for-profit’ membership based network." They "welcome all involved or interested in delivering the patient experience – with a commitment to continuously improve."
PEN's goal is "to provide a valuable resource/service for NHS and other organisations wishing to improve patient experience and the staff experience."
Catherine Carter from CHANGE won the award for Advocacy. She collected her award at the ceremony which was hosted at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre on the 1st March 2018.
Catherine also delivered a presentation about her work on our Learning By Doing Together project. More information on the project can be found here.
